DENVER (AP) _ Funnel clouds were spotted in Downtown Denver near
Coors Field, prompting people attending the Colorado Rockies game
to be moved from the stadium seats to the concourses.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the Denver metro area and warning sirens have been blasting since about
3 p.m. Sunday. A tornado watch for central Denver and surrounding
counties is in effect until 3:30 p.m.
A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday in northeastern
Colorado.
The Rockies are hosting the Seattle Mariners in a game that began at 1:10 p.m. the game was stopped in the sixth inning with the Rockies leading 7-1.
