GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - While many people spent the day shoveling snow, a local store used it for some added exposure.
REI Limited, a new ski and snow store at the Mesa Mall, let the kids of Grand Junction test out a new sled type, the Zipfy sled.
It’s been featured on the Disney Channel and in Redbook Magazine and has only been for sale in the United States for two years.
The company is introducing the sled to Grand Junction by letting the kids test them out on the hills.
At the end of the day five lucky kids walked away with one of the sled for free.
