No school or business closures so far this morning

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - So far Thursday morning there are no school or business closures you need to know about.

More than 3.5 inches of snow fell in the lower valleys throughout Mesa County overnight.

Thursday's forecast: Cloudy, snow likely in the morning then a chance of snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation around one inch. Highs 25 to 35. Chance of snow 70 percent.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy, a 20 percent chance of snow in the evening, areas of fog after midnight. Lows 5 to 15.

    By now hopefully all the parents are aware of it, but the buses were called back today for Plateau Valley due to one of them going off the road. Driving down the road earlier today there were kids standing outside waiting on a bus that should have been there nearly an hour earlier.

    Here in the Mack area we received about 8 inches of snow.
