Ski resorts push back closing day after epic snow falls

COLORADO MOUNTAINS, Colo. (KKCO) - Due to the latest round of storms that rolled through Colorado, starting last Thursday, some area ski resorts have pushed back their closing dates.

Sunlight Mountain Resort near Glenwood Springs, which was scheduled to close Monday, will re-open April 10 and 11.

Aspen Mountain is scheduled to close April 11 but will reopen for two bonus weekends, the 17 and 18 and 24 and 25.

Durango Mountain will also continue to stay open weekends through the month of April.

All resorts say the deadline extensions are conditions permitting, of course.
