JACKSON, Ky. (AP) - Officials in Kentucky have confirmed a third storm-related death.
Allen County Emergency Management Director Gary Petty said Monday that searchers found the body of a man whose truck ran off the road Sunday into a flooded creek. Petty says the man's body was found about a mile away from where he went off the road.
Kentucky officials say two other deaths over the weekend in Barren and Madison Counties in central Kentucky were weather-related, and at least 300 roads are blocked by water in the state.
The weekend's storms also killed 17 others in Tennessee and Mississippi.
