GRAND JUNCTION, CO (KKCO)_What a difference a few days have made, and what a few more days will do.
Today we're expecting a 50% chance for rain and thunderstorms with mostly cloudy skies. Temps will be right around 70 degrees for a high, and winds will be picking up as the day goes along.
Wednesday will see lots of wind as a strong low and cold front approaches. Rain will pick back up Wednesday night ahead of the storm and Thursday and Friday temperatures will be much cooler, only near 60, with lows in the upper 30's, with lots of clouds and rain.
We are expecting snow in the high country later tonight and through the week, and we may even see snow moving into lower elevations like Montrose Thursday and Friday.
Saturday and Sunday things start to clear out, but temperatures will remain cool in the 60's with mostly clear skies.
