GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Police have arrested a man after a shooting and carjacking that occurred Sunday afternoon.

21-year-old Levi Chick Arguello of Fruita was arrested in connection with the incident.

On Sunday, Grand Junction Police responded to 29 Road and D 1/4 Road to reports of a stolen car.

The person whose car was stolen followed the suspects and said shots were fired at the stolen vehicle during the pursuit. No one was hurt in the incident.

Arguello was charged with illegal discharge of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.
