GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - District 51 released Monday that the USDA will be extending free school meals through the end of the 2020-21 school year.

This means all students in District 51 can continue to access school breakfasts and lunches at no charge regardless of their household income.

Although meals remain free through the end of the school year, all households are encouraged to check their student’s cafeteria balance through ParentVUE to see if there are any outstanding charges from prior school years or from milk, extra entrees or beverages purchased this year.
