Grand Valley Power customers experience outages in Fruita on Thursday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Grand Valley Power says that all power has been restored after dozens of customers were without power Thursday afternoon in the Fruita area.

Grand Valley Power says that high winds knocked down several power lines near L Road, which caused the outages. In all, 75 customers experienced an outage.

The first outages were reported around 2:30 p.m.
