Colorado Secretary of State candidate visits Western Slope

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - One of the candidates hoping to be the next Colorado Secretary of State made a stop in Grand Junction on Thursday.
Former Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder Pam Anderson announced her candidacy back in October of 2021, declaring her run as a Republican. On Thursday she made a visit to the Western Slope.
Another candidate hoping to secure the Republican nomination for Secretary of State is Mike O’Donnell.
Both Anderson and O’Donnell are running for the Republican ticket. Currently Jena Griswold (D-Colo.) holds the position of Colorado Secretary of State. KKCO 11 News reached out to Secretary Griswold to see if she plans to run for re-election, we are awaiting her response.
