Russell Cross is the News Director for KKCO NBC11 News and KJCT ABC8 News in Grand Junction, Colorado. In this role, he is responsible for leading the team that produces all content for KKCO and KJCT including television newscasts, nbc11news.com, and kjct8.com. Russell has spent over 20 years in a variety of broadcast roles before joining the team.
Kacie Sinton is the Digital Content and News Director for KKCO, and joined in April of 2022. She was born in St. George, Utah, but has spent the majority of her life on the Western Slope. Kacie has a BA in Mass Communication and Media Strategies from Colorado Mesa University.
Adam Woodbrey, joined the team in July 2021 producer and reporter. Now he's anchoring the weeknight news.
Bernie has spent several years as an anchor, reporter and producer in Grand Junction, Colorado. He's been married to his wife Kelli since 2001. They have three boys ages 13, 11 and 8.
Cristian was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in May 2021. He is a multimedia journalist since September 2021 and weekend anchor as of December 2022. When not working, Cristian can be found at the gym or skating at Canyon View Park.
Joshua is the news photographer for KKCO. He got a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication with a focus on video production and journalism from Colorado Mesa University in 2016. He joined the team at KKCO 11 News in 2021.
Hannah graduated from Dixie State University in December 2021. She joined the team as an evening anchor in February 2022 before moving to the morning anchor position in May 2022 and eventually moving to late evenings in December of 2022.
Gabriel Gonzalez comes to us from San Antonio, Texas. Gabriel earned his AAS degree in Radio, Television, and Broadcasting from San Antonio College, and his BA in Communication from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Bruclyn Tribble joined the news team in June 2022 as a Daybreak and Midday Producer and Reporter.
Melissa was born and raised in San Fernando Valley, California. She received her Bachelor's in Communications - Journalism from the University of Houston in 2021. She also graduated from New York University in 2023, where she received her Master's in Journalism.
Originally born in small town Missouri, I have spent most of my life living in the Grand Valley. I spend most days with my cat Miso, my toothless best friend. For fun I enjoy reading tarot cards and delving into the mystic side of life. I am heavily involved in the performing arts. I try to act, sing, and dance as much as possible.
Chief Meteorologist Stephen Bowers joined KKCO 11 News in May 2022. Stephen comes to KKCO from Gray Television sister station in Mississippi. Colorado is familiar territory for Stephen. He worked for about five years on the other side of the mountains in Colorado Springs.
Chris is the weekend meteorologist for KKCO.
Garrett is from Clovis California in California's Central Valley. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2021 with a degree in Journalism.

Peter Zampa joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in June 2015 as a multimedia journalist.
Brendan Cullerton joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in March 2022 as a multimedia journalist after spending four years covering state, local, and federal politics for the CBS affiliate in Milwaukee.
I started working at Gray TV’s Washington D.C. bureau in May of 2023. I found my calling for news while attending Butler University during the Ferguson Riots after the killing of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager. During the chaotic times is when I realized how facts and storytelling can really impact a community.
Molly Martinez rejoined Gray Television in March 2022 as a multimedia journalist in the Washington News Bureau. She previously covered politics at Gray TV's KFYR-TV in Bismarck, N.D.
Ashonti Ford joined Gray Television in August of 2023. Ford is a well-traveled watchdog journalist who has worked for newsrooms around the nation, including; Tampa, Kansas City, Decatur, Wichita and Salisbury.
Stetson Miller joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in February 2023 as a multimedia journalist after working at WTOP, WJZ in Baltimore and WCBD in Charleston, SC.
Josh Rultenberg joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in July 2022 as a multimedia journalist.
Annie has worked at various news outlets in Washington, D.C., including covering the 2020 and 2022 election cycles for C-SPAN. Before that she worked at local stations in Louisiana and Virginia.
Joshua worked at several local stations before moving to Washington, D.C.. There he launched a national morning show, "The National Desk" for Sinclair. He now works as a producer for the Gray Washington News Bureau.
Leah Vredenbregt joined the Gray Washington Bureau team in June 2023 as a weekend producer. She is a recent University of Missouri grad who worked for three years in mid-Missouri news, with internships across the country in both local and national news outlets.
Michael is a born and raised Ohioian who got his photojournalism start at his alma mater Ohio University working for PBS in 2007. He has gone on to work for several media outlets both locally and nationally, shooting award winning news and documentary stories, garnering him an Emmy and Edward Murrow award.
