Bernie Lange

Bernie arrived in Grand Junction in 1998. He grew up in Lakewood, Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Bernie moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where he started his news career at KOTA-TV. After a year and a half in the Black Hills he came to Grand Junction as an anchor, reporter and producer. Bernie left the new business for a few years to work in communications, advertising and public policy. However, he returned in 2007 where once again joining the ranks of broadcast news. After several years at KKCO Bernie decided on another adventure which took him to New England. He relocated to Burlington, Vermont and worked as evening anchor at WVNY/WFFF-TV. After two terrific years in the Northeast, the west came calling again. Bernie never took the dirt (a Grand Junction myth) and returned to Grand Junction.
