Alicia Lewis

Alicia Lewis is a proud Cleveland, Ohio native that recently moved to Georgia. She is WALB’s first Tifton bureau multimedia journalist and plans to bring light and love to The Friendly City. She currently serves as a board member for the Salvation Army. Alicia loves cooking, home decorating and hosting family gatherings. During her time in Cleveland, she was a public relations freelancer for the mayor’s office where she wrote news releases, handled social media and news anchoring. She was also a content and social media brand writer for the entertainment and gossip blog "Baller Alert." Alicia is an Eastern Michigan University graduate and has interned at WDIV in Detroit as an assignment desk editor and at WEWS in Cleveland as a news reporter. She is an articulate journalist and perfectionist adept in all aspects of researching, writing and reporting engaging news stories. Alicia is excited to join the WALB News 10 family. She will contribute content to the 4, 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
