Christopher Guevara is the weekend meteorologist for KKCO.
He comes to us from Indiana where he graduated from Ball State University with a bachelors degree in Meteorology and Climatology. Prior to attending Ball State, he also studied Computer Information Technology at Purdue University Northwest. Chris was part of a team that certified Ball State as a Storm Ready University by the National Weather Service.
During his time at Ball State, he was a volunteer storm spotter, president of the both the Storm Chase Team, and Student Chapter of NWS and NWA. Chris was featured on a billboard along interstate 65 near the Indianapolis area in Indiana. He was also involved with a television marketing commerical for Ball State.
When he is not following severe weather outbreaks, you can find him outdoors enjoying exercising, hiking, camping, fishing, or any other outdoor activity. Chris also enjoys videography, photography, video and photo editing, creating web pages, and computer graphic designing. He is very family oriented and loves dogs.

Temperatures and conditions will change over the few days leading toward the middle of the workweek as the mountains will continue to see showers and thunderstorms.
