Cyndy started her career as a 17-year-old intern and camera operator in Kalispell, Montana in 1981. Since then, she’s worked in Lewiston, Idaho, Tri Cities and Spokane, Washington. She comes to Grand Junction from NBC Montana where she headed up an investigative unit and worked as the Assistant News Director.
Most of her career was spent as a reporter, radio news anchor, back up anchor and producer at KXLY TV and AM in Spokane. While there, Cyndy won an Emmy for Best Writing and was nominated for several others. Most recently, she helped lead her team to Montana's Best Newscast two years running and is a four-time winner of Montana's Best News Writing.
Cyndy has replaced her two now-adult kids with an amazing dog.
