Kaia originates from eastern South Dakota, but moved to Grand Junction, Colorado, after high school to pursue her Mass Communications degree. Kaia keeps herself busy by running a freelance photography business, working at Grande River Vineyards part time, attending Colorado Mesa University full time, and working in the newsroom at KKCO-KJCT part time. When she isn't working, she can be found at home watching Netflix or reading with her dog, Piper, and her cat, Sharkbait. During her longer periods of time away from work, she can be found trekking across the state, finding outdoor adventures and venturing to various wineries and craft breweries.
