Tom Ferguson was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He graduated from the University of Virginia, and it was there that he first got involved with journalism through its student newspaper, The Cavalier Daily.
Having grown up near the water, Tom loves waterskiing, fishing, boating, and going to the beach. After driving across the country to Colorado, he is excited to explore the beautiful nature of this part of the country. While attending U.Va., he picked up a love for hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains and can't wait to explore the Rockies.
When he's not cheering on U.Va. football and basketball, Tom enjoys listening to podcasts, reading, running, and anything outdoors.
