Halloween decorations already on the shelves in GJ

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Pumpkins and even Christmas trees are already being sold at local retailers across Grand Junction. Some stores said they began selling seasonal decorations as early as July.

There are 81 days until Halloween night. Some said it’s nice to have holiday-themed art supplies because it gives them plenty of time to start crafting before the holiday arrives.

“I personally like it because I’m a preparer. I like to plan early. We are already talking about his Halloween costume,” said Kryssi Lee.

“When I was younger we never really celebrated Halloween as much so now being older and seeing the decorations I’m like, I’m going to get my costume I’m going to do this. It’s just a time to celebrate,” said Jacob Lucero.

“It’s way too soon its way to hot I mean don’t want to think about Christmas until November,” said George Hargraves.
