GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A bill that would allow concealed carry guns on school grounds in Colorado has failed again.
It was heard Wednesday in the State Veterans and Military Affairs Committee. They voted 6-to-3 to postpone the bill indefinitely, effectively killing it.
This bill has died in the same committee for the past four years.
Every year, Douglas County Representative Patrick Neville has sponsored it. He said a gun in the hand of a law-abiding citizen could stop a bad guy with a gun.
Opponents say putting more guns on school grounds is not the answer.
