GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Country Jam's line up is taking a hit.
Country music singer, Luke Combs, canceled his appearance at the festival due to some health concerns.
Combs announced on social media Saturday that he would not be able to play June 14 as he was scheduled to appear. In his post, Combs said he lost his voice after performing at the CMA Fest. He said his doctors recommended ten days of rest and no singing.
This leaves many Country Jam fans upset and wondering if there will be a substitute for Combs.
“I’m kind of sad because every single time I hear him on the radio I get excited because I’m like 'I get to see him,' and now he’s not coming, so I’m a little upset about that,” said Jordan Farber, a who is planning to attend Country Jam.
Country Jam has not announced what will happen on Thursday night to fill his vacancy.
Another Thursday night performer, Walker Hayes, announced in a recent Facebook post that his newborn son had passed away. The post says that all immediate upcoming appearances are being canceled. It is unclear if Country Jam is one of the canceled appearances.
