GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Interstate 70 is open through Glenwood Springs following a brush fire that broke out on Wednesday around 3 p.m.

The interstate was closed for more than an hour.

It was named the '113 Fire' as it was near mile marker 113, which is just west of Glenwood Springs. It only grew to about three to four acres.

I-70 was closed down at mile marker 114 westbound and 109 eastbound, according to Colorado State Patrol Eagle.

We're told Ami's Acres and Mitchell Creek were in pre-evacuation notices, those have since been lifted.

It's unclear what started the fire.
