GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) -- The Mesa County coroner has identified the man who was struck by a train Monday night.

They say 49-year-old Michael Kelly appeared to be homeless and his blood alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit.

Kelly was hit just west of the 32 Road overpass on Monday, it all happened a little before 7:30 p.m. Our crews say he was hit by a freight train, not a passenger train.
