MESA, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Fall officially begins this weekend and while it may not feel like it in some parts of the state, it's starting to look like it.

Beginning this weekend, you can head to Powderhorn and see some changing colors. On September 30, Powderhorn's longest running and biggest event of the year, Color Sunday, is happening. Visitors will be able to sit back and relax and enjoy the colors while riding the ski lift.
"People really come from all over the Grand Valley, and elsewhere, to see the fall colors change. September 30th is really going to be perfect timing for peak colors," said Ryan Robinson, Powderhorn Mountain Resort Marketing and Sales Manager.
Tickets cost $12 and visitors can take scenic lift rides from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
