FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Sunday marks the last day of the Fruita Fall Festival, and it delivered three day’s worth of fun up and down Aspen Avenue.
Close to 100 vendors were set up in downtown Fruita for the festival.
The three-day event matched up perfectly with the beginning of the Fall season, and came with all kinds of food and rides that were fun for the whole family.
One vendor at the festival said there were so many people at the event this weekend, that it was hard for him to keep up.
“The first day, Friday, awesome crowd, lots of people, sold a lot of food. Saturday was even a bigger crowd, sold 600 pounds of pork, and restocked, and cooked all night last night so we are ready to go again today," said Owner of Big Mike’s Pork and Wings, Mike Williams.
Officials in charge of the festival say next year’s Fall Festival will be September 27 through the 29.
