GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- The crime happened in 2016, Terrence Richardson was arrested for stabbing and killing 20-year-old Caleb Fettig, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

In court Tuesday, Richardson was found guilty of
-1st Degree Murder
-2nd Degree Murder
-1st Degree Assault
That's according to the District Attorney's office.
Sentencing for the case was scheduled for later this month. In Colorado, a first-degree murder conviction carries a minimum punishment of life in prison.
The Grand Junction Police Department posted to their facebook page, "More than 20 GJPD officers and detectives were involved in this case work, and were responsible for conducting approximately 150 interviews over the course of the investigation. Additionally, numerous civilian staff worked alongside officers to create a solid case, from property and evidence to records personnel to call takers with the Grand Junction Regional Communication Center."
A man was arrested Friday for stabbing and killing 20-year-old Caleb Fettig, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
Police said Terrence Richardson, 21, was arrested shortly after 1 p.m. in the 2800 Block of Belford Avenue.
Richardson is being held at the Mesa County jail for second degree murder, according to GJPD.
Police said Fettig was found dead stabbed to death Monday afternoon at a mobile home park in Grand Junction.
Police said someone called 9-1-1 when they found Fettig lying with blood on his face in the A&W Mobile Home Park in the 2800 block of North Avenue.
When the person checked on the young man, they realized he was dead, police said.
Authorities said no additional details about the incident are available and the investigation is ongoing.
