Teen on Redlands died from alcohol intoxication

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Mesa County Coroner has identified how a 17-year-old died on the Redlands in February.

Deshawn Pace, 17, was found dead at a vacation house on Santa Rosa Lane in the Redlands in early February. The Mesa County Coroner said Pace died of “acute alcohol intoxication.” His blood alcohol level was 0.328%. The Coroner said the manner of death was accidental.

We're told pace is from Clifton and did not live at the home where he was found.
