Girl sketches missing cat in hopes someone finds it

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A little girl from Grand Junction is trying to find her lost cat, but she needs your help.

You may have seen her signs across town. They were hand drawn by the cat’s 9-year-old owner, Willow Ferris. She’s a student at Orchard Avenue Elementary School.

Willow lost her cat a few days ago so she decided to post signs across town to help find him.

The two have been inseparable for about seven years. Willow says she loves it when her cat lays next to her as she reads.

Her black cat has bright greenish, yellow eyes and is graying a bit due to his older age. He responds to the name ‘Kitty Kitty Black Beans’.

"I really wanted him to come back. So, I made some posters and I asked my mom if I could use a nail gun, and so I went around with some of my friends and we just put them up around the places…we miss him very much,” said Willow Ferris.

If you see him, give the family a call right away. The best number is (970) 255-7446.
