Spring into summer resource fair

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Rocky Mountain Elementary hosted the Spring into Summer Resource fair on Monday.

The halls were filled with booths and resources for parents. So while their kids enjoyed the free food and bounce houses, parents learned about local summer camps and tutors. The resource fair also offered immunizations and dental screenings.

"This is just a unique way to bring all the organizations in our community together for the families we love and care about," said Patti Virden, Principal of Rocky Mountain Elementary.

It's the first time the school has hosted a resource fair, but they plan to have many more in the future.
