CLAWS animal rescue searching for fosters

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- CLAWS Animal Rescue and Sanctuary are looking for foster families to take in kittens and pregnant cats.

The Grand Junction rescue is looking for foster families to take in dozens of kittens. Director of CLAWS, Valerie Mazrin, says they're constantly looking for fosters, and homes, for kittens.

Just last week, CLAWS took in 40 kittens and another five on Monday. The shelter currently works with about 20 foster parents, but would like another ten.

"There would need to be a room, or area, where our kitty can go into without access to outdoors or your pets. A quiet place away from the kids and other animals because some of these guys are a bit nervous going into these home," said Valerie Mazrin, Director of CLAWS.

CLAWS will provide food and medical care for fosters. If you're interested in opening your home contact CLAWS.
