Lunch program registration for D-51 students

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- District 51 schools want to remind parents to register their students for lunch programs before school begins on Monday.

This year, the state of Colorado is allowing what is typically reduced priced lunches to now be free.

There are a few schools that don't have a kitchen, and the Lunch Lizard will be available during the school year to stop by and provide those students with meals.
