Wednesday morning, Grand Junction police arrested two teenagers for their part in a string of robberies, some at or near local bus stops.
They were caught after another report of someone showing a weapon, and asking for his wallet.
The suspect vehicle in all the robberies was a dark-colored sedan.
After the most recent report, officers found a Dodge Charger in the parking lot of Columbine Park, at 540 28 1/2 Road. Police talked to the people in the car and through interviews determined they were the suspects in the overnight robbery - and the robberies that happened earlier in the week near local bus stops.
Gabriel Suarez, 19, was arrested on charges of Felony Menacing, Aggravated Robbery, Assault in the Third Degree, Theft, Criminal Attempt, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Another person was arrested too. He was 17-years-old and because of his age, his name was not released. He was also booked on an unrelated warrant.
