City of Grand Junction mailing out ballots on Monday
Grand Junction residents can expect their ballots soon.
City officials are mailing out the ballots on Monday for the upcoming city election. Voters will be choosing candidates for council seats.
There will also be three sales tax increase questions on the ballot, including an increase to help first responders, transportation, and a new community center.
There will also be a question about the sale of Burkey Park. Starting on Monday, there will be a ballot box near the entrance to City Hall where ballots can be dropped off. There will be a few designated parking spots near City Hall with free parking for ballot drop-off.
Ballots can also be dropped off at the Mesa County Elections building on Spruce Street.
City officials say that if you have not received a ballot by March 18, call Mesa County Elections.
