City officials talk future developments at Pear Park neighborhood meeting

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO News)-- Monday night was round two of five neighborhood meetings that the city is hosting. The city invited residents of Pear Park to come out and hear about what to expect in 2020, not just for the town, but what's happening in their neck of the woods. The city talked about some of the transportation improvements scheduled in the Pear Park area for the coming years.

"We asked for a $70 million dollar authorization to expand capacity within our community, on our roadways. That was distributed throuhgout the entire community," says city manager, Greg Caton.

There are three meetings left:

Tuesday, March 3rd 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Redlands Middle School

Monday, April 6th 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Appleton Elementary School

Thursday, April 30th 6:00-8:00 P.M.
