GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A Mesa County Sheriff’s Office deputy that shot a woman on October 18 has returned to work after the shooting was found justified by the District Attorney’s office.
That’s according to a press release on Thursday from the Grand Junction Police Department regarding the investigation into the officer-involved shooting.
Deputy Troy Jones was cleared of his use of force against Deziree Fisher by DA Dan Rubinstein, in a findings letter from Rubinstein to the lead investigator of the incident. Find that document here.
