Eagles group take dozens of kids on shopping spree

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Grand Junction Fraternal Order of Eagles took some lucky kiddos on the shopping trip of a lifetime Saturday.

Their 30th annual shopping spree started early morning hours at the Walmart on North Avenue.
Each year the Eagles treat 80 deserving children from area middle schools, who might not otherwise have presents at Christmas.

Each child was accompanied by an Eagle member and given $100 to spend on whatever they need or would like for themselves and family.
