GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A house was seriously damaged by smoke in Grand Junction Sunday afternoon, and what caused the fire is still under investigation.
The Grand Junction Fire Department said in a press release they were called to a house that had lots of smoke coming out of it near 18th Street and Elm Avenue.
This was at 3:30 p.m. Fire crews searched through the smoke, but didn’t find anyone inside the house, according to the press release.
No one was hurt.
The fire department said two cats and several sugar gliders were rescued from the house.
