Fire rips through semi in Montrose

Local firefighters are trying to figure out what caused a semi to go up in flames in Montrose.

It happened Wednesday.

According to the Montrose Daily Press, an officer driving by the Holiday Inn Express saw smoke billowing from a small semi parked in the lot.

When he pulled over, he saw flames coming from the back.

Local police and firefighters kept people away from the parking lots of the hotel and nearby grocery store.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt.
