GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT News)-- Many folks continued to celebrate the 4th of July. After the GJ Rockies played there was a fireworks show at Stocker Stadium.

For nearly most of the day people have been barbecuing and enjoying the Lincoln Park Moyer pool. Some spectators have been enjoying the festivities all day as they prepared for the fireworks celebration.

"It signifies that we're a free country and that we can not necessarily do whatever we want, but we're able to do what we want freely," said spectator, Isaiah Montoya.

Thursday's game started at 6:40 with the fireworks show starting right after the game ended around 9:45. All spectators, both in and outside the stadium were able to watch the show.
