Free admission to Colorado State Parks on Black Friday

While many may choose to spend the day after Thanksgiving getting those Black Friday deals, you could spend it outdoors.

CPW is hosting their annual Fresh Air Friday on Black Friday. They are giving free admission to anyone who comes out to their 41 state parks on that day. And while Black Friday is a tradition to many Americans, they hope this encourages families to give thanks in the great outdoors.

"I mean it's very popular. We've seen a great response. Some of our parks have seen very heavy attendance the day after Thanksgiving. So its been a great way to encourage folks to enjoy Colorado's outdoors," says Mike Porras with CPW.
