FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- It’s graduation season and that means local high school seniors are looking towards the future.
Seniors at Fruita Monument High School geared up for their academic signing day Thursday morning.
In total, 80 students got some sort of scholarship and we’re told that their combined scholarships equaled $ 2.2 million.
District 51 says that usually academic signing day is aimed towards athletes going to college sports, but this one was all about honoring student’s academics.
