GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Girl Scouts in Grand Junction put up a new Little Free Library at a local park Saturday.

They decided Canyon View Park was the perfect spot to share literature and stories. They'd put one in over at Lincoln Park, and it was pretty successful--more than 700 books have filed through that one since it was installed in April.

The Scouts say they learned a lot from the project—like woodworking, patience and time management.

The founder of the Little Free Library movement recently passed away. This new addition makes the 14th in Grand Junction.
