In his press conference Monday afternoon, Governor Jared Polis outlined the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Colorado.

Polis said that camping in Colorado State Parks will be able to resume on May 12, unless the hosting county says otherwise.

Polis also said that he will determine the next steps for restaurants and summer camps on May 25, and will provide the next steps for the safer at home plan on June 1.

Polis announced in the conference that he has suspended the restaurant license for C&C Breakfast and Korean Kitchen in Castle Rock after they failed to abide by the restaurant guidelines that the state had previously outlined. The Tri-County Health Department ordered the restaurant to close until they comply with the governor's order.

In Mesa County, restaurants, gyms, and retail stores have been given the green light to open in a limited capacity if they practice social distancing guidelines set forth in their reopening plan. The full plan can be viewed
