Grand Junction man faces kidnapping, sexual assault charges, among others

A Grand Junction man has been arrested on several charges, which include Kidnapping, Sexual Assualt on a Child, and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office arrested Erik Craig, a 39-year old of Grand Junction on Tuesday after a warrant was obtained.
The charges stem from a previous incident with a juvenile in May of 2019 according to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
Craig is being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility on a No Bond Hold until First Appearance.
Craig is facing the following charges:
-2nd Degree Kidnapping (Class 2 Felony)
-Sexual Assault on a Child (Class 4 Felony)
-Sexual Assault on a Child- Pattern of Abuse (Class 3 Felony)
-Enticement of a Child, with previous conviction (Class 3 Felony)
-Obscenity (Class 6 Felony)
-Failure to register as a Sex Offender (Class 6 Felony)
