GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- We now have the identity of a man taken into custody, after police fired non-lethal rounds at him.
54-year-old Todd Burwell was taken into custody with multiple felony charges.
This is after Grand Junction police received a call around 10:30 p.m. Thursday of reports of a man in a vehicle pointing a gun at a person at the City Market at 2nd Street and Rood Avenue.
Police spotted the vehicle traveling on Main Street, and they pulled the driver over.
The officers on scene told our crew that the suspect failed to obey, so police used non-lethal rounds on him. After he was taken into custody, he was brought to the hospital.
