Man killed in overpass crash identified

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Friday the Mesa County Coroner identified a 26-year-old man from Grand Junction as the person killed in a crash that happened Sunday night.

The coroner said William Delbrook was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death was blunt force injuries, and the manner was accident.

Delbook’s blood alcohol was 0.167 percent, according to the coroner.

Emergency crews responded to a crash on the 29 Road bridge around 7 p.m. Sunday. Two cars collided head-on on the bridge. Our crews on scene said one car lost control and hit the other.
