One man is dead after an early morning stabbing in GJ

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Grand Junction Police are on scene at the Paradise Valley Mobile Home Park for a man with possible stab wounds.

GJPD tells us that the male victim is deceased.

There was a brief shelter in place Wednesday morning but it has since been lifted.

Police says there should be no disruption to nearby Pomona Elementary School.

Officers will be on scene for most of the morning.

They say no one is in custody at this time, but if you know anything please contact Crime Stoppers or GJPD.

The park is located on 585 25 ½ road.

Grand Junction Police Department, Fire Department and Mesa County Sheriff’s Officers were on scene.
