NBC Fiat Chrysler automobiles is recalling more than 180,000 Ram pickup trucks due to a roll away risk.
The recall includes certain 2017 and 2018 Ram pickup trucks.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the truck could shift out of park if the key is not in the ignition.
Government documents say the brake-shift interlock pin can fail if the brake pedal is pushed for a long time when the trucks are running and in park, increasing the risk of an unintended rollaway.
Fiat Chrysler says it's not aware of any crashes or injuries related to this recall.
The company recommends that drivers always use the parking brake as a safety precaution.
Dealers will update software and replace a switch if needed in a recall that starts March 30.
In December, Fiat Chrysler recalled 1.8 million vehicles for the same issue.
