Reflective object seen high over Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- See anything strange in the sky lately?

As of Sunday afternoon, we’ve got a few calls to our newsroom about an unidentified object above Grand Junction. You have to look almost straight up to see it.

The object is oval shaped and reflective.

We’ve called over to the National Weather Service office here in town, and they told us it's most likely a high-altitude balloon, launched by a private aerospace company.

A Twitter account dedicated to stratospheric balloons, appears to show one above our area Sunday afternoon.

Send us your photos, here if you’ve seen it.
