GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Police Department was dispatched to James Trailer Park just south of North Avenue after a report of shots fired on Thursday. Ultimately, three people were arrested.

Olivia Martinez, 28, of Grand Junction, Desiree Vallejos, 25, of Grand Junction, and David Mora, 20, of Grand Junction, were all arrested in relation to the incident.

When police first arrived at the scene around 10:30 a.m., they located a vehicle that matched the description they received. The police tried to make contact with the vehicle but the vehicle wouldn’t stop. A pursuit ensued throughout the city until the subjects drove back to the James trailer park. The subjects then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

“Police officers were heading east and all of a sudden we saw them heading west. Then east again and west again, back and forth, back and forth. Definitely there was a lot of commotion, kind of left you in the mindset to stay indoors,” says Lance Ferguson, the owner of a nearby business.

No one was injured in the initial shooting.
