GRAND JUNCTION,Co.(KKCO)-- The Veteran's Association is offering 'telehealth' which is access to healthcare through modern technologies.
Veterans are now able to see their doctors through video like, Facetime and Skype.
Nicole Artez, program specialist for the Veteran's Association says " this service Provides care to veterans that they can’t get locally; like endocrinology, hepatology, and dermatology".
For example, it can take up to six-months to see a dermatologist and now veterans can get prescribed medicine over VA video connect.
Veterans are loving this service because they do not need to travel, saving them money and gas.
